Health Warranty:
AHD guarantees that your puppy is in good health, has had his first round of immunizations and has been dewormed. You have three (3) business days from the date of pick up or delivery to take your puppy to a licensed veterinarian for an examination and confirmation of the puppy’s health subject to this guarantee. If your puppy is found to be in poor health, you have the option of returning puppy to the AHD, at your cost, for a full refund, and a written statement from a licensed veterinarian listing the date of the examination clearly stating defect or illness is required. If your puppy is not taken to a licensed veterinarian within three (3) business days of from the date of pick up or delivery from AHD, this health warranty is null and void.
Provided that you have taken your puppy to a licensed veterinarian within three (3) business days from the date of pick up or delivery for a health examination and such health examination shows the puppy to be in good health, AHD provides an additional warranty for two (2) years after the date of sale against any debilitating congenital defects. In the event your puppy exhibits symptoms of a suspected debilitating congenital defect, you must supply any requested veterinary records to AHD within seven (7) calendar days of informing AHD of the defect. AHD has the right to require a second opinion from a licensed veterinarian of AHD’s choice at AHD’s expense. If your puppy is euthanized or in any way disposed of, without a second opinion from the AHD’s veterinarian, you waive all right to a replacement puppy and void this health warranty.
Please note that that this 2-year health warranty does not include viral illnesses, infections, improper bites, hernias, hypoglycemia, giardia, coccidiosis, or entropion. It also does not include any illness due to the ingestion of foreign objects, food, chemicals, or physical injury.
If it is determined your puppy does have a genetic disorder that is identified within two (2) years of purchase, you have the option of a replacement puppy from the next available litter. Your puppy need not be returned to AHD provided there is documented support of medical condition that is corroborated by AHD’s second veterinarian opinion. Shipping fees will not be refunded, and if it becomes necessary to ship a replacement puppy, those fees are to be paid by you.
If your puppy should die from a suspected congenital defect within two (2) years of purchase, a necropsy must be performed at your expense by a licensed veterinarian acceptable to AHD’s own licensed veterinarian. If the necropsy shows a congenital defect as the reason of the death, and the examining veterinarian provides a written certified statement with regards to the cause of death being a congenital defect, AHD will provide you another puppy of equal value. This warranty is void in the event of an undetermined or inconclusive diagnosis.
No other representations, warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, are made except as stated and set forth in these Terms and Conditions. All statements on hunting ability and coat quality are best guess by AHD and not promised or guaranteed.
This warranty is non-transferable.
