Our Process
Submit your application and 1st deposit of $500 to join our general waiting List.
Once we have a breeding that meets your priorities, we will invite you to join that litter list with a 2nd deposit.
After the litter whelps, we confirm number of pups, and if we have a potential match for you. Reseve your pending puppy match with a 3rd deposit.
Puppies go home after eight weeks. Final payment is due prior to pick up or shipping. Additional costs for shipping, boarding, or training are not included.
All transactions with AHD are subject to our Terms & Conditions. All deposits are nonrefundible. All breeding rights for all AHD dogs are restricted to AHD ownership.
Puppy Match
Match vs Draft
We offer puppy matches instead of having a draft or selection process to determin who gets which puppy in a particular litter. We will offer you a puppy that matches your top priorties in your new dog.
Matching ensures you will be able to get the specific traits that matter most to you in your next dog. Whereas, a draft leaves you forced to pick from whatever limited options may be left to you.
If we aren’t able to match you with the right fit, you are welcome to apply your deposit(s) to any future litter list until you get the right puppy for you.
Puppy Prices
AHD puppies are offered at three price points depending on breed mix and generation.
F1 Hunting Doodle (First-Generation) - $3,500
F1b, F2 or Multigeneration Hunting Doodle - $4,400
American Retriever - $5,300
